Junior Management Consultant Level 4 Apprenticeship

Summary

The Junior Management Consultant role is an individual contributor whose services may be tapped by a company or a client.

As a management consultant, you will provide business advice to public, private and not-for-profit organisations. This can include:

  • Helping them solve a challenge of some kind.
  • How to make the business more efficient.
  • How to organise and structure itself in a different way.

Junior Management Consultant Competencies

In your day-to-day role, you will carry out tasks that satisfy a different competencies. Some include:

  • Conducting research, analysing and interpreting data.
  • Responsible for organising the logistics of the project
  • Contributing to report writing which uses statistical evidence to support recommendations and conclusions.
  • Support the creation of slide decks to deliver key messages to clients.
  • Become more focused on a particular type of service offering (financial, strategic, operational, etc.) or industry (financial services, public sector, telecommunications etc.).

Entry Requirements

Individual employers will identify entry requirements in terms of previous qualifications, training or other criteria. Most candidates will have Level 2 Maths and English (equivalent to GCSE grade C or above), ideally as part of 5 GCSE A-C grades or other comparable qualifications. Apprentices without English or Maths at Level 2 must achieve this prior to the completion of the Apprenticeship
